Resize a photo to DNI size (26×32 mm)

How it works

1. Drop the portrait onto the box, or pick it from your phone. A plain, light background and a straight look at the camera give the cleanest result.
2. Fill and crop is preselected, so a frame locked to the 26:32 shape appears on the photo. Drag it over your face and pull a corner until your head and shoulders sit inside with a little space above your hair.
3. Press Resize to 26×32 mm. The file that comes out is exactly 307 × 378 pixels.
4. Download it, then print it at 26 × 32 mm or attach it to the form as it is.

Frequently asked questions

Why 307 × 378 pixels?

26 mm ÷ 25.4 × 300 = 307 and 32 mm ÷ 25.4 × 300 = 378. That is the 26 × 32 mm photo of the Spanish DNI and passport at 300 dpi, the resolution print shops work at.

Can I change the proportions?

Not on this page: the size is fixed at 307 × 378, so the crop frame keeps the 26:32 shape and the photo cannot come out stretched. You only choose which part of the picture the frame holds. For a free size, use the main Resize image tool.

Does the file carry a 300 dpi tag?

No. It simply has 307 × 378 pixels, and printing it at 26 × 32 mm gives 300 dpi. A print shop may display it as 72 dpi; ask for the physical size instead of trusting the tag.

How do I get several copies on one sheet?

Use the Passport photo print sheet tool and choose the 26×32 mm size. It repeats one photo across 4×6 inch, L-size, 5×7 inch or A4 paper at 300 dpi with light cut lines.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. Cropping and resizing run in your browser, which matters for a document photo. The free plan allows 3 files per run, 20 MB per file and 10 runs a day; Pro removes those limits.
