Resize to a 50×60 mm biometric photo

How it works

1. Drop the portrait onto the box. A plain, light background and an even, front-on light give the cleanest biometric photo.
2. Fill and crop is preselected and the frame is locked to the 5:6 shape of a 50 × 60 mm photo. Drag it over your face and size it from a corner so your head and the top of your shoulders are inside.
3. Press Resize to 50×60 mm. The result is exactly 591 × 709 pixels.
4. Download it and print it at 50 × 60 mm, or upload it to the form.

Frequently asked questions

Why 591 × 709 pixels?

50 mm ÷ 25.4 × 300 = 591 and 60 mm ÷ 25.4 × 300 = 709, so the picture is 50 × 60 mm when printed at 300 dpi.

How is this different from the 45×60 mm photo?

They are two different formats. 50 × 60 mm is the biometric photo of the Turkish passport and ID card; 45 × 60 mm (the classic vesikalık) is 5 mm narrower and has its own page here. Check which one your form names before you print.

Does the tool check biometric rules?

No. It gives you the exact pixel size and a locked frame; head size, expression, background and lighting are yours to get right. Frame your head so it fills most of the height with a small gap above the hair, and keep the background plain.

Can I print a sheet of them?

Yes. The Passport photo print sheet tool offers the 50×60 mm size and repeats one photo across 4×6 inch, L-size, 5×7 inch or A4 paper at 300 dpi, with light cut lines.

Is my photo uploaded?
