Frequently asked questions
- Which size should I use for each platform?
- The size chart lists them all with their ratios: 1080 × 1080 for a square Instagram post, 1080 × 1350 for a portrait one, 1080 × 1920 for Stories, Reels and TikTok, 1280 × 720 for a YouTube thumbnail and 1500 × 500 for an X header. Each size has a page that resizes to it.
- Will my picture be cropped?
- With Fill and crop, whatever lies outside the frame is trimmed and you choose where the frame sits; Fit inside keeps the whole picture and pads it instead. Platforms crop on their side too — profile pictures into a circle, covers on phones — so keep faces and text near the middle.
- Are the sizes up to date?
- They are the sizes the platforms’ own help pages gave in September 2026, and the date is shown on the size chart. Platforms change them now and then.
- Is anything uploaded?
- No. Pictures are resized and videos cropped and encoded on your device; nothing is sent to Nouplo or to the platform until you post it yourself. It is free with no account, and Pro removes the free plan’s limits.
