Org chart maker
Indent a list of names — get a tidy org chart.
One person per line; indent the people who report to someone under that person. Name | Title (or Name — Title) gives the box a second line. Tab indents, Shift+Tab outdents.

This tool runs entirely in your browser. What you type, play or record here stays on your device: nothing is uploaded or saved on a server.
How it works
- Type one person per line, and indent the people who report to someone under that person.
- Add a job title with “Name | Title” — it goes on a second line in the box.
- Choose top-to-bottom or left-to-right and the colours, then download PNG, SVG or PDF.
Frequently asked questions
- How is the chart laid out?
- As a tidy tree: each manager centred over their team, levels lined up. Teams of four or more people with no reports of their own are stacked in a column so wide departments still fit on a page.
- Can I show departments instead of people?
- Yes — any text works: departments, teams, or a family tree going down from grandparents.
- How big can it be?
- Up to 300 boxes. For large companies, left-to-right often fits a page better.
- Can I use it in a document or presentation?
- Download the SVG to keep it sharp at any size, the PNG for slides, or the PDF to print.
- Is my diagram uploaded?
- No. It is drawn in your browser; the last outline is kept on this device, and a share link carries the outline itself.
