Mind map maker
Type your ideas — see them branch out.
The first line is the centre; each line at the left edge is a main branch, and indented lines are ideas under the line above. Tab indents, Shift+Tab outdents.

Nothing leaves your device
This tool runs entirely in your browser. What you type, play or record here stays on your device: nothing is uploaded or saved on a server.
How it works
- Type the main topic on the first line, then the main branches at the left edge, and indent ideas under each branch.
- Watch the map arrange itself, branches balanced left and right, each in its own colour.
- Download PNG, SVG or PDF, or copy a link to keep working on it later.
Frequently asked questions
- What is a mind map good for?
- Brainstorming, planning a project or a trip, revising for an exam, or structuring an essay: a central topic with ideas branching out, so you see the whole picture at once.
- How do I add sub-ideas?
- Indent them under the idea they belong to — press Tab to indent and Shift+Tab to go back.
- Can I change the colours?
- Yes — colourful gives every main branch its own colour; blue, green, warm and black and white are calmer.
- Can I share it?
- “Copy share link” puts the whole map in a link: anyone who opens it sees the same mind map and can edit their own copy.
- Is my diagram uploaded?
- No. It is drawn in your browser; the last outline is kept on this device, and a share link carries the outline itself.
