This tool runs entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and you can even turn off your internet connection before you start.
How it works
- Drop the images to rotate. Several can be turned in one run.
- Choose the rotation: 90° clockwise, 180° or 90° counter-clockwise.
- Add a flip if the picture is also mirrored.
- Press Rotate images and download the results.
Frequently asked questions
- Why does a photo look upright on my phone but sideways elsewhere?
- Phones often save the rotation as a note in the file instead of turning the pixels. Apps that ignore the note show the photo sideways. Saving it here writes the pixels upright, so it looks right everywhere.
- Does rotating lower the quality?
- Turning by 90° steps loses no pixels. JPG files are re-encoded at high quality, which is not visible in practice; choose PNG to keep the result lossless.
- Can I rotate a PDF instead?
- Use Rotate PDF for documents; it turns pages without converting them to images.
- Are my images uploaded?
- No. Rotation happens in your browser. The free plan handles 3 images per run, 20 MB each and 10 runs per day.
