How it works
- Start writing: the board is chalkboard green with white chalk, and coloured chalk in the palette.
- Use lines, arrows, shapes and text for diagrams; add a page when the board is full.
- Go full screen for the class or a video call, and save each board as PNG or SVG.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I switch to a white board?
- Yes — change the background at any time to white, grid, dots, lined paper or dark; the ink colour switches so your writing stays visible.
- Does it work with a drawing tablet or stylus?
- Yes: a stylus draws with pressure, and your palm resting on a touch screen is ignored while the pen is down.
- Are there shortcuts?
- P pen, H highlighter, E eraser, L line, A arrow, R rectangle, O ellipse, T text, V select; Ctrl+Z undo and Ctrl+Y redo; in full screen, Page Up and Page Down turn pages — so a presenter clicker works.
- Is my board saved?
- Yes, in this browser: every page is kept as you draw, so a refresh or closing the tab loses nothing. Save a PNG or SVG to keep a copy elsewhere. Nothing is uploaded.
- Is anything uploaded?
- No. It runs in your browser; nothing is sent anywhere.
